After high school, Dr. Barnes earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Southern California and then spent some time at the University of Oregon taking pre-med courses. Dr. Barnes earned the postgraduate designation of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician ® (CCSP ® ) in the fall of 2016. This training will aid the doctor in the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries by enhancing his diagnostic skills and patient care. Dr. Barnes uses a wide range of treatments including diversified chiropractic adjusting, gentle mobilization, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, and various athletic taping techniques. Dr. Furumasu takes interest in a variety of diversified chiropractic techniques including chiropractic adjusting, low force mobilization, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, kinesiology athletic taping. He has lived all his life in the Pacific Northwest and enjoys golfing in his spare time.
